Špunt & Konflík is a cute little restaurant in Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad). Karlsbad is a very beautiful city with a population of less than 50 thousand people. The restaurants here serve international cuisine. I was surprised.

This restaurant has a lovely ambience. I was here in December. It was nice and cold. The yellow bulbs inside made me feel warm. I love extreme winter. It's fun to go out and play, eat hot food and drink cold coffee in negative temperatures.

Given a choice in India I would settle in Himachal or Uttatanchal where it's always - 5 to - 10 in Winters. That's life.

The food here is delicious. I would recommend several dishes - Chilli con Carne (very spicy but tolerable in winter), Barbecue Angus Beef Burger, Quesadilas and of course their Brownies. The quantity is impressive.

Of course they have a well equipped Bar. One can choose their favourite Vodka - Finlandia, Ketel One, Russian Standard Vodka or Absolut. I was surprised why absinthe was missing on the menu.

They have a few good beers too - Carling Cider, Leffe Bruin, Hoegaarden White and Stella Artois.

I just love this country. Very calm, serene, people love peace and you see colours everywhere. They respect your privacy and provide you much space for creativity.

Check out Špunt & Konflík whenever you visit Karlsbad. One might get lucky and find a lot of international tourists who speak any of my preferred languages - Danish, English, German, or Swiss.
