Historic Building. Good Food.
I alway look for an interesting place to visit. And this time, I find a restaurant called U Ševce Matouše. The restaurant is located in the most important historical part of Prague, near by Prague Castle. And this becomes more exciting...the restaurant is situated in an old house built on a gothic and renaissance bases in the early baroc period from 16th Century.
I feel like a famous guest in this restaurant, because mostly famous persons have been to U Ševce Matouše, such as Czech president, Hollywood stars like Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie, English Princess, Spanish Queen and others.
Local Czech food is always good on meat. Please try the traditional Czech dumplings-port meat and Texas Port Chop on grill, very yummie.
Over all, U Ševce Matouše is a good place to eat and to see an old gothic building. Selamat Makan!
Skvělé prostředí,místo a ještě skvelejší jídlo.Doporučuji českou kuchyni,biftek,polévky i dezerty.Například hovězí biftek,brambor,kukuřičný klas a omáčky je bezvadný.Obsluha velmi milá a vstřícná.Ceny vyšší,ale jednou za čas,proč ne?
Navštěvuji každý týden v poledne (využívám polední menu) a jsem vždy nad míru spokojená. Určitě to není na Michelina, ale v této oblasti naprosto parádní restaurace a ve zmíněnou dobu ještě za super peníz. Umějí tu skvěle kuřecí a polévky. A pan majitel je úžasnej. Vždy se Vám plně věnuje a ještě se u toho usmívá....a kvůli tipu to, podle mě, nebude =D
At Prague castle, excellent food, perfect service, great prices, good portions, go often there when we have a family meeting, we had a time to choose from the delicious menu, we have a labrador with us, always given a fresh water, so restaurant dog friendly. So I can highly recommend this friendly atmosphere, we met an owner and he's really sympatic. So enjoy this restaurant with friends, family and dog in Prague ;)
