Beautiful and cosy restaurant with delicious food for a fair price.
Honestly, you're missing out if you don't visit.
I personally had the deer and the meat was very tender. I also had an ice wine and it was delicious. The staff is very polite.
Absolutely loved it!
Excellent food and service. Tasting menu with wine was exceptional. Travel back in time with pancakes made by your table and a pianist playing while you dine.
Searching for food destinations in Prague proved a lot more difficult than expected. I wasn't entirely sure why this was as I assumed being a large and popular city, there would be plenty of offerings. However on arriving I realised that food here just isn't that great. A real shame given that Prague is one of most stunning cities I've ever wandered through, but the fact is the Easter market was on and I tried 5 different local street foods and all were honestly quite bad.
Dalsi z mnoha restauraci, kterou jsem objevila prostrednictvim festivalu Foodparade a ochutnala jejich specialitky. Mym favoritem se zde stal danci hrbet se sipkovou omackou a karlovarskym knedlikem. Mohu s cistym svedomim rict, ze to bylo to nejchutnejsi jidlo, ktere jsem na foodfestu ochutnala. (A ze toho nebylo malo :-)) Danci maso jsem mela poprve v zivote a doslova me dostalo! Jemne, krehke, chutne, skvele upravene. Za me naprosta bomba a urcite doporucuji si dat prave tuhle dobrotu! Dale kladne hodnotim vyzdobu stanku a prijemny a vstricny personal :-) 4 z 5 proto, ze nemohu ohodnotit kamennou restauraci.
Dnes jsem se se svym chlapcem v ramci festivalu Foodparade zastavila u stanku Modre kachnicky. Nejen, ze ve stanku se zverinovou vyzdobou byla nejmilejsi obsluha, ale meli i nejlepsi pastiku z divoke kachny, podavanou s domacim pecivem a malinovou omackou! Uzena kachni prsa s cibulovou marmeladou taky stala za to. Urcite se k nim nekdy zastavim na poradnou degustaci.
Havel, Klaus, Kohl, Gott, Cruise, McDowell, Federer, Farrow, Connery, Freeman, Valentino, Forman, Ungaro, Barysznikow, a nawet Pink Floydzi, uff... Pewnie zastanawiasz się jakim cudem wszystkie te nazwiska znalazły się w jednym zdaniu? Otóż oni wszyscy (i wielu innych, których nie wymieniłam, ponieważ brakło mi tchu) skusili się na kaczkę U Modré Kachničky. I nie sądzę by żałowali. W każdym razie ja nie żałowałam.
