A lovely place in a lovely city. The Globe Bookstore and Café is the largest and best English-language bookstore in Prague, and it is a refuge for an Anglophone bibliophile visiting this amazing city. Its stock is remarkably rich and attractive; its presentation is first rate. The café is wonderful, and the food is quite good. Last night, after browsing, I had chicken schnitzel and chocolate cake, and both compared favorably with the fare of local restaurants. I urge any English-speaking visitor to Prague to visit the Globe.
Been going there for years. Great staff and the happy hour drinks are really great. Quiz nights, writers group, reading group, children's story time, all for expats and their families. Nice seasonal garden seating, and an excellent English language bookstore. Many of my Czech friends go there just for the "American" food...go figure! Fun place to hang 7 days a week.
Had a fabulous experience with a fellow traveler. We enjoyed our afternoon beer flights of local brews and perusing the bookstore full of wonderful selections. The bartender gave us a copy of The Prague Visitor newspaper and suggested we check out the local activities, festivals and attractions while in town. Very helpful!
Great, friendly bar. Intimate, but able to seat groups. Service is excellent. I've only had the fries and the nachos, but both were good. Definitely a regular hangout now, particularly for their special events. Quizzes, comedy, stuff like that. Lots of fun.
A Lovely cafe/bar friendly staff and fun entertainment nights. Never had a bad night there.
My partner loved the bookstore. We had coffee drinks and a great meal in the cafe. Overall a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Going back tomorrow to the quiz night.

Simply great, friendly atmosphere, great food, at Globe even a single person is never alone!
Wonderful venue, great vibe and a superb selection of books.
Awesome spot, great people. Karaoke was a blast.
It’s a decent café in the old town. The food, however is not the highlight of the place. The events they organise are fun and the vibe is relaxing, much as a bookstore-café should be.
Zajimavy a stylovy podnik v centru. Lokalita nahrava zastavce naprikld pri prochazce.Posedel jsem tu s milou spolecnosti, nad dobrym jidlem a drinkem.Anglicke knihukepctvi v predni casti, spolu s vybornym english speaking chlapkem me dostali...Burger teda prumer, ale drinky silne a poctive...a brownie?!?
TOP!!!
Doporucuju :-) Stylovka ;)
Obsluha úsměvavá a příjemná, prostředí téméř domácí. Mají tu vynikající tortillu/wrap i šopský salát za normální ceny. Určitě se tu zase zastavím až půjdu kolem! 👍🏻
Amazing atmosphere, good food, very nice bookstore. We went there for brunch with my friend. We had blueberry pancakes, Burrito, Bagel with cream cheese and salmon.
Service was very friendly and good. We had for drink coffee and amazing tea called Paris. if you don't know where to go for brunch? Go to the Globe. Is the best.
Nice place, mostly busy with foreigners. My husband enjoys working from there for half a day every week. Plugs everywhere. They serve good coffee, extensive breakfast and sandwiches. Just don't be too loud or the waiter will tell you off.
Great environment to have a glass of wine and read, catch up on some work, or chat with friends. They plan weekly activities - including movie nights, karaoke, trivia nights, and book club discussions. Competitive prices and good food.
