A good place a bit away from the hustle & bustle of Wenceslas square or old town square for that matter. Like many of the Irish pubs around in the city or even at home in India this place has a typical feel with all its wooden interiors and pretty good music. They have a live screen too, although for some reason they were screening golf the day I visited the place. Anyway, the pricing is pretty decent, especially the beer section. I tried the Shephard's pie which was wonderful, soft, molten cheese hiding a nicely cooked portion of lamb underneath. Liked it pretty much. Also tried their non filtered Irish beer (couldn't recollect the name but it was good). The waitresses were polite with a smile and helped with the orders and also with the direction since we were tourists. Overall a nice experience which was easy on my pocket too.
All of the irish pubs in prague are complete rip off joints, but this place is the best of a bad bunch.
The food is good, if overpriced, and 55CZK for Staropramen is taking the proverbial.
