Prag' da gezinirken çoğu yerde görebileceğiniz 'Trdelnik' adlı tatlıyı burada deneme şansımız oldu. Çeklerin bu meşhur tatlı, silindir hamuru içine değişik malzemeler koydurduğunuzda bambaşka bir şeye dönüşüyor. Hamuru seçiminize bağlı olarak hazırlanabiliyor genelde fındık , ceviz veya tarçın katıldıktan sonra bir silindire sarılıyor ve piştikten sonra üzerine şeker dökülerek servis ediliyor. Onlarca malzemeden bir ya da birkaçını içine doldurup yiyebiliyorsunuz. Tam bir kalori bombası anlayacağınız. Ama buralara gelmişken denemeden olmaz :)
Krusta invites you to have a “sweet break” in Prague. We were curious to see a very different looking cone being prepared right at the entrance of this smallish outlet in Old Town Prague and so we went right in. It turned out that the cone being prepared is a traditional Czech- Slovak pastry called Trdelnik. It can be had as is but we tried the version with ice cream. The mouth was suddenly filled with two contrasting flavours - One of the warm, crusty, sugary and tasty layer of the Trdelnik and the other of a cold, vanilla ice cream- a combination of two contrasting yet complimenting flavours. Krusta is a good place to try authentic pastries like the Strudl as well. Located conveniently near the Old Town Square, it’s just the right fuel for your long walks around the picturesque city.
